"Monterey Trailer" Dartmoor Airstream Camping Experience

How would you like to spend tranquil nights under the stars high up on the edge of Dartmoor with beautiful far reaching views?

We have a rustic 1970's vintage Airstream caravan available with your own outside heated shower, compost toilet and external fire pit.

The Airstream sleeps 2/3 people with a fixed single bed and a large sofa area that pulls out to make a double bed making it suitable for two adults or couples with a child.

The Airstream has lighting and power and a sink with hot and cold running water.  There is a small countertop oven with a double hob on top, microwave and a BBQ outside.

There is a separate compost toilet, a heated external shower, a deck and a large fire pit.

You will have your own exclusive camping area surrounded by farm land and deep wooded valleys with some stunning views. The Airstream is in a remote rural area and is a true Dartmoor wild camping experience. 

Dartmoor can be directly accessed at the end of a half mile lane with beautiful walks and nearby Venford reservoir. The river Dart is only a short drive or an adventurous walk away with some lovely wild swimming spots.

The village of Holne is approximately one and a half miles away and has a pub, small village store and a cafe. The nearby small town of Ashburton is only a fifteen minute drive away with great restaurants, delis and independent shops.

As the site sits within farmland regrettably dogs are not permitted due to the surrounding livestock.

Parking is down a short very bumpy lane into a field. If you have a 4x4 you can park right near the campsite or park just in the field with a regular car as it is only 150 meters to the Airstream.
